In a post on X, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) made a statement regarding the nuclear submarine sent to the Middle East.
"On November 5, 2023, an Ohio-class submarine arrived in the US Central Command area of responsibility," the post said.
The United States has sent two aircraft carriers to the region since Hamas' armed wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, launched a full-scale offensive on the morning of October 7 to "respond to Israel's continued violations against Palestinians and their holy sites, especially the Al-Aqsa Mosque."
