Nashville police released footage of the moments when Jovi, who was thought to be on the bridge to shoot a video, convinced the woman who attempted suicide.
The footage shows Jovi and the woman with him approaching the woman standing on the railings of the pedestrianized John Seigenthaler Bridge in Nashville, Tennessee, and talking to her briefly.
After this conversation, the woman leaves the railing, hugs Jovi and walks away from the scene.
In a post on the Nashville police's X account, Jovi and his team were praised for convincing the woman.
