Fencing Follies
In fencing, an unexpected twist: one fencer forgot their sword. Improvising, they picked up a baguette from a nearby vendor and dueled their opponent in what can only be described as the most delicious match of the games. The baguette-wielding athlete won, proving that carbs really are the answer to everything.
The Spectator Sport
Of course, no Olympic day is complete without the spectators. Today’s highlight was a streaker who managed to evade security for a full five minutes, performing cartwheels and somersaults before being gently tackled by a rather amused guard. The streaker’s impromptu performance earned them a standing ovation and a swift exit from the stadium.
