Toyota Motor temporarily halted production at six of its plants following an explosion at the factory of parts supplier Chuo Spring Co.
It was reported that the explosion, which injured two male workers, damaged the drying ovens in the plant.
According to the Japanese manufacturer Toyota, 10 production lines in 6 factories in Japan were temporarily stopped due to the parts supply shortage after the explosion.
Will be restarted
The statement said that it is not yet known when the production lines will be restarted during the week.
It was reported that the affected production lines belong to Toyota's Land Cruiser and RAV4 models.
