The Olympic Games will be held in Los Angeles in 2028.
The US actor took the Olympic flag from Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, got on his motorcycle and rode through the crowd.
Then, a short video of Cruise defying time to reach Los Angeles and reaching the famous Hollywood sign was shared.

It was reported that Cruise came up with the idea for this show and shared it with the International Olympic Committee.
In 2004, Cruise took part in carrying the Olympic torch in Los Angeles with a message of peace and friendship.
The star, known for not using stunts in his movies, will meet the audience with the 8th movie of the Mission Impossible series. The movie will be released in 2025.
AWARDED THE HONORARY KNIGHTHOOD
On the other hand, Tom Cruise was awarded the Legion of Honor (Légion d'honneur) by French Minister of Culture Rachida Dati in Paris on July 26.
Hours before the opening ceremony of the Olympics, Cruise was awarded one of France's most prestigious honors, following in the footsteps of famous artists such as Robert Redford, Martin Scorsese and Clint Eastwood.
