A man named Sonny Boyes, aged 19 and from Exeter, has been accused of two counts of rape and three counts of sexual assault. The charges stem from incidents involving a 16-year-old girl who was raped and a 17-year-old girl who was sexually assaulted. These crimes occurred near Digby and Sowton train station in Exeter between 20:45 and 22:00 BST on a Friday. Sonny Boyes is scheduled to appear at Exeter Magistrates’ Court on Monday. Devon and Cornwall Police are investigating the matter with the support of specialized officers to assist the victims. Detective Inspector Emma LeFort urged anyone who was in the area of Digby and Sowton railway station or on a passing train between 20:45 and 22:00 on the Friday to come forward with any information.
