Adam Sandler is back with a sequel to Happy Gilmore, featuring a star-studded cast. During Netflix’s Tudum event on Saturday, a new trailer for Happy Gilmore 2 was unveiled, offering a glimpse of the film’s star-studded line-up.
The trailer opens with Happy Gilmore falling over while playing golf, which is witnessed by Eric André, Margaret Qualley and Martin Herlihy. Other celebrities set to appear include Travis Kelce, Bad Bunny, Ben Stiller as orderly Hal, and television personalities such as Ken Jennings and Stephen A. Smith. Eminem, Post Malone, Becky Lynch and others also make brief appearances.
Alongside the cameos, the main cast of Happy Gilmore 2 includes Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald, who is reprising his role as Shooter McGavin. Sandler co-wrote the screenplay with Tim Herlihy, his collaborator on the original film.
Set for release on 25 July 2025, the movie promises to be a hilarious and star-studded sequel that fans of the original won’t want to miss.
