In a statement made by the company, the plans to be implemented in order to increase efficiency by creating a simpler and more organized organizational structure were announced.
The new structure is aimed to be a more agile business that will better serve customers and continue to offer first-class products, the statement said: "The planned changes will provide cost efficiency. Our tight management of costs and headcount until 2023 has enabled us to minimize the overall reduction in headcount. It is estimated that (after the changes) global employment will decrease by between 2,000 and 2,500. Rolls-Royce currently employs 42 thousand people."
