Nvidia, one of the world's largest chip manufacturers, submitted its filing to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for the quarter ending June 30, 2023.

In the filing, it was noted that the company was informed by the US administration about the additional licensing requirement for the export of A100 and H100 chips to certain customers and other regions, including some countries in the Middle East.

Nvidia's filing did not specify which countries in the Middle East are affected by the export restriction on AI chips.

The company announced last year that US officials told it to stop exporting the chips to China.
