At least 29 trains of the Eurostar company to Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam were cancelled as a result of flooding in the tunnel under the Thames River passing through the middle of London, the capital of England.

Train services cancelled before Christmas and New Year's Eve caused many passengers to be victims at stations.

The cancellation of train services caused overcrowding at London's St. Pancras and Paris' Gare du Nord stations.

Engineers working in the tunnel said that the water level has decreased with the work done. It was not clarified when train services will return to normal.

It is estimated that the severe storm and excessive rainfall in England are effective in the unprecedented flooding in the tunnel.

Meanwhile, Eurostar, which operates from London to Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam, announced that passengers can get their fares back in full or make an exchange.
