Shocking Twist Woman Allegedly Married Ex-boyfriend Without His Consent, Police Say!

A woman in central Texas is facing a stalking charge and has been ordered to stay away from her ex-boyfriend after authorities say she married him without his consent and then left a copy of the marriage certificate at his home. Kristin Marie Spearman, 36, was arrested and charged with third-degree felony stalking, as reported by the Beverly Hills Police Department in Texas. She has since been released on bond with an emergency protective order in place. The police chief, Kory Martin, emphasized the importance of preventing the situation from escalating.

It is unclear if the reverend involved will face charges, and Spearman’s legal representation was not confirmed as of June 18. Spearman had a local reverend sign the marriage license, which she then filed with the clerk’s office. The reverend is cooperating with law enforcement and has expressed remorse for the incident.

The victim, a 42-year-old man, reported the incident to Beverly Hills police on June 13. He discovered a gift bag with a marriage certificate and a note from Spearman at his home. The man had been in a previous relationship with Spearman and had ended it, instructing her to stop contacting him. However, Spearman proceeded to have the marriage certified without his knowledge.

Spearman was arrested at her residence near Hewitt and later released from jail. The police are still gathering information, and the Beverly Hills Police Department is collaborating with the McLennan County District Attorney’s Office to determine if any additional laws were violated.
