NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — After missing the past two games due to a personal matter, Nashville Predators coach Andrew Brunette has returned to the team. The 51-year-old coach released a statement saying he is back with the team in time for their game in Utah on Thursday night. Brunette had to deal with a medical emergency in his native Ontario, which led to his absence. He left the team on April 5 and Assistant Coach Todd Richards filled in during his absence. Brunette expressed his gratitude to the team ownership, Barry Trotz, and the coaching staff for their support. The Predators have faced challenges lately, losing six of their last seven games. ___ AP NHL: https://apnews.com/hub/nhl
