Polish PM’s Urgent Visit to Turkey for Ukraine Security Talks!

WARSAW (Reuters) – Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced his upcoming trip to Turkey on Wednesday to address the latest developments concerning Ukraine and discuss collaborative efforts between Warsaw and Ankara to promote lasting peace in the region. “Our discussions will focus on the respective roles of Poland and Turkey in regional stabilization, as well as the evaluation of the initial round of talks held in Saudi Arabia between Ukraine and the United States,” he stated. Tusk emphasized the potential contributions of both Turkey and Poland in securing enduring peace and stability in the region, particularly along the Russian-Ukrainian border.

In a joint statement, the United States and Ukraine confirmed their agreement to resume military aid and intelligence sharing following Kyiv’s endorsement of Washington’s proposal for a 30-day ceasefire with Russia. Tusk stressed the significance of NATO and European countries effectively ensuring stability post-ceasefire, with Turkey potentially playing a crucial role.
