The affected product, packaged in a 1-oz. pouch with UPC 0 72992 04260 3, marked with lot number K4351 and best by date 07 2026 on the back of the packaging, was distributed by World Market and Abraham & Sons, Inc. The company decided to recall the batch after discovering undeclared almonds during an internal quality control check. The batch in question was manufactured by a third-party co-manufacturer.
Upon identifying the issue, immediate measures were taken to isolate the affected product, inform the third-party co-manufacturer, notify consumers and distributors, and report the incident to the FDA. The company expressed regret for any inconvenience caused and affirmed its commitment to upholding the highest safety and quality standards in its products.
