Carey said she was glad to have spent time with her 87-year-old mother, a former opera singer, the week before she passed away.
The American singer did not make any statement about the causes of death of her mother Patricia and her sister Alison.
The famous singer's father Alfred Carey also died of cancer in 2022 at the age of 72.
