Attacks on US base in Syria

In the eastern Syrian province of Deir Ezzor, four surface-to-surface weapon attacks were launched against the area around the Koniko gas field where the US forces are stationed.

According to local sources, the US military base in the Koniko gas field in the north of Deir Ezzor province was attacked 4 times with surface-to-surface weapons.

It was learned that the rockets fell around the base, but there were no casualties in the gas field.

Upon these developments, US helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles flew over the area and security measures were increased around the gas facilities.

For the last 4 days in Syria, the US military bases in the Tenef region, Malikiyya district near the Iraqi border, Sheddadi district in Hasakah province and Deir Ezzor province have been attacked by armed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and surface-to-surface weapons of unknown origin.

Iranian-backed factions occasionally attack US bases on the east bank of the Euphrates River with surface-to-surface weapons and UCAVs.
