Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer, about the making of the atomic bomb, was a huge success at the box office and won 7 awards at the Oscars.

John Carpenter, known as the "Master of Horror", spoke to the Last Donut of the Night newsletter. Asked which of the recent movies he liked or disliked, the famous name talked about "Oppenheimer".

"I'M NOT SURE IF IT'S THE MOVIE OF THE CENTURY"

Carpenter said, "Oppenheimer wasn't bad. Everyone praises it as the movie of the century, I'm not sure about that."

When asked if he liked Nolan's movies in general, Carpenter said, "Yeah, I guess, sure."

On the other hand, "Oppenheimer", Christopher Nolan's longest production ever made with its 181-minute length, became the 3rd highest grossing film of 2023.

Starring Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr. and Matt Damon, "Oppenheimer" became the highest grossing World War II-themed movie of all time, breaking the record of "Dunkirk", which grossed 527 million dollars.
