Theo, a young boy whose passion for drawing knows no bounds, recently had the opportunity of a lifetime when he was chosen to illustrate the cover of a new children’s book.
The chance encounter that led to this exciting collaboration occurred when Theo crossed paths with acclaimed children’s author B. Ware, the pen name of writer Jo Stacey. Impressed by Theo’s artistic prowess, Stacey entrusted him with the task of creating illustrations for her latest book, aptly titled “Warning, May Contain Dragons.”
According to Theo’s mother, Katharine, drawing has always been a sanctuary for her son, providing him with a means to express himself and find solace from a young age. “He had ‘always loved’ drawing and had used it as a way to ‘soothe himself’ from about the age of five,” she shared.
Recalling their initial meeting, Theo explained how he first caught Stacey’s attention with a heartfelt “welcome to my school” card adorned with his captivating illustrations.
