A former personal assistant for Ye, Lauren Pisciotta, who worked for him from 2021 to 2023, has recently made new allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking against the rapper. This comes as a second amended complaint in her ongoing lawsuit, following previous accusations of sexual harassment and wrongful termination. The filing, initially reported by TMZ, includes claims of assault, battery, sex trafficking, stalking, and false imprisonment against Ye.
USA TODAY has reached out to representatives for both Ye and Pisciotta for their comments on the matter. A legal representative for Ye previously stated to Rolling Stone that Pisciotta was terminated due to reasons such as being unqualified, making unreasonable financial demands (including a $4 million annual salary), and exhibiting inappropriate behavior. The representative dismissed her allegations as baseless, accusing her of blackmail and extortion.
The latest filing details disturbing incidents where Ye allegedly subjected Pisciotta to inappropriate comments about her body, demanded she wear revealing clothing, groped her regularly, made her witness sexual acts, sent explicit images, and pressured her to engage in sexual encounters, which she refused. The complaint goes on to describe instances where Ye attempted non-consensual sexual acts on Pisciotta.
Furthermore, the filing accuses Ye of forcibly kissing Pisciotta, touching her inappropriately, and coercing her into sexual situations. There are claims that Ye offered someone else the chance to have sex with Pisciotta in exchange for his own sexual favors. Additionally, the complaint alleges that Ye engaged in sex trafficking by using false promises of career advancement to manipulate Pisciotta into complying with his sexual demands.
Pisciotta’s initial lawsuit in 2024 included allegations of sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and breach of contract, with subsequent amendments adding further claims. The latest filing reveals that after Pisciotta filed her original complaint, Ye allegedly orchestrated harassment against her by falsely alerting authorities to her residence, leading to unwarranted visits and searches.
These serious allegations have cast a shadow on Ye’s reputation, as legal proceedings continue in response to Pisciotta’s claims.
Attorney Lisa Bloom stated to USA TODAY that every woman should have a workplace free of groping and sexual harassment. She also mentioned that they are prepared to vigorously litigate the case for their client, Lauren Piscotta. Additional details have been added to this story.
