Thousands of users noted outages on the social media site at that time. By 5:59 a.m. EST on Monday, more than 22,000 users had reported experiencing issues. The majority of users (around 60%) reported problems with the app, while approximately 31% encountered difficulties accessing X’s website, according to Downdetector. USA TODAY journalists managed to access X again by 6:20 a.m. ET, indicating that the outage had been resolved by that time, with the number of reported outages decreasing to 438 by 6:22 a.m. ET.
