Authorities are currently searching for a woman who is accused of making a bomb threat at a Houston airport in an attempt to frame her ex-partner, as per court documents. Trekalon Price, 25, is wanted for felony charges related to reporting a false alarm or emergency at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston. According to a document obtained by USA TODAY, a Houston police officer detailed that an unidentified woman, later identified as Price, phoned in a “bomb threat” at the airport on January 4, 2025. The caller, who refused to disclose any personal information, claimed that an individual who had just arrived on a Delta flight at Bush Intercontinental Airport intended to bomb that airport and another in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Price instructed the 911 operator to alert law enforcement before providing details about the alleged bomber.
Upon investigation, it was discovered that similar calls were made to Cedar Rapids authorities. They confirmed that the man mentioned by Price had landed and was being searched for. Price allegedly informed a patrol officer at Cedar Rapids Airport that the man in question possessed a firearm in his luggage, but she refused to disclose her source of information. When questioned by police, the man denied any knowledge of the accusations and suggested that the woman he had been romantically involved with was likely behind the calls.
The man mentioned that he had not communicated with Price since late 2024, alleging that their relationship ended in November of that year. He claimed that Price may have been aware of his travel plans due to his ongoing communication with the mother of his children. When played the 911 call, he identified the voice as Price’s. The mother of his children confirmed that Price had mentioned making calls to his workplace and the airport but denied disclosing any information about his travel plans or threats of violence.
It was also revealed that Price had allegedly contacted the man’s workplace multiple times, leading to his dismissal. The man described Price’s tendency to use phone apps to make calls from different numbers.
