On Mother’s Day 2025, Will Smith paid tribute to the mothers of his children, Jada Pinkett Smith and ex-wife Sheree Zampino. The Academy Award winner shared a heartfelt Instagram post honoring “all the mothers of the world,” including his own mother, Caroline Bright.
Will, who is a father to three children – Trey, 32, with Zampino, and Jaden, 26, and Willow, 24, with Jada – posted a carousel of images featuring the maternal figures in his life. The post included pictures of his kids with both Jada and Sheree, as well as snapshots of himself with his mother and Jada’s mother.
In a separate post, Will shared a video of Mr. T performing “Treat Your Mother Right,” expressing his sentiments on celebrating mothers. Last year, Will also acknowledged the “spectabulous mothers in his life,” and this year, his kids joined in the celebration with Willow sharing a throwback photo with Jada.
The Smith family, including Jada, Sheree, and their children, recently had a fun photo moment where Will was caught napping as his family posed around him. Will, who welcomed his eldest child Trey with Sheree in 1992, has been open about the challenges of divorce, describing it as a significant failure in his life.
Amidst his personal reflections, Will has had a busy year with milestones like having a street in Philadelphia named after him and releasing his first album in two decades. The album, “Based on a True Story,” features collaborations with artists like DJ Jazzy Jeff, Teyana Taylor, and Jack Ross, with advice from Jay-Z inspiring its name.
