Wedding Seating Showdown Bride and Groom Spice up Dinner Arrangements with Competition!

At their wedding reception, Alyssa and Cole Monday from Arizona decided to add a unique twist by hosting a couples trivia game on Kahoot! to create a friendly competition among their guests. The tables that answered the most questions correctly were rewarded by being released first for dinner. The couple shared that some guests were so enthusiastic about the game that they even searched through their social media and wedding website for answers.

Inspired by Alyssa’s sister, the couple wanted to involve their guests and make the waiting time for dinner more enjoyable. As a teacher, Alyssa thought of using Kahoot! as a fun way to engage their 150 guests. They set up 15 tables to play the game, with one participant from each table logging into Kahoot! The couple’s families and wedding party also joined in on the trivia challenge to test their knowledge about the bride and groom.

The game was a big hit among the guests, with everyone cheering as the tables were released for dinner. Photographer Lauren Allison praised the couple’s idea, noting how it sparked friendly competition and added excitement to the evening. Cole and Alyssa shared that the trivia game made the dinner transition more enjoyable and lighthearted for everyone.

In addition to the trivia game, the newlyweds also engaged their guests by launching T-shirts with the phrase “I ❤️ Mondays” using a T-shirt cannon at the reception. The couple’s creative approach to involving their guests in the celebrations made their wedding a memorable and engaging experience for all attendees.
