Watch Beyoncé’s Christmas Halftime Show with Lamar Jackson!

There is no certainty regarding the seriousness of Jackson’s approach. However, it would not be unprecedented for a player to forego halftime adjustments in favor of entertainment. Cincinnati Bengals kicker Evan McPherson and long snapper Clark Harris made headlines when they chose to watch the Super Bowl 56 halftime show in Los Angeles. The show featured performances by Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and others. Despite Jackson’s whereabouts during halftime on Wednesday and the state of the game, it is unlikely that Harbaugh will have competing priorities.

“I can’t say I’m a huge Beyoncé fan, but I think I like her,” shared Baltimore’s Head Coach on Monday. “Is she doing country now? You think some of those country songs will be in there? You’ll have to report to me on that.” Beyoncé previously graced the halftime stage at Super Bowl 47 in New Orleans, which coincided with the last time the Ravens emerged victorious with the Lombardi Trophy. Reflecting on this, Harbaugh acknowledged, “Did she? That’s good to know. I do remember that now. Focus, focus.” These words of wisdom are likely to be imparted by Harbaugh to his quarterback in the coming days.
