Warriors Star Curry Benched Hamstring Strain Puts Season in Question!

The Golden State Warriors will be without Stephen Curry for the next three games of their second-round series against Minnesota, as confirmed by an MRI exam that revealed a mild strain in his left hamstring. Curry sustained the injury during Game 1, where he had to exit early in the second quarter. Despite his absence, the Warriors managed to secure a 99-88 victory and take home-court advantage from the Timberwolves.

Curry is expected to be out for at least a week, with Game 2 scheduled in Minneapolis on Thursday, followed by Games 3 and 4 in San Francisco on Saturday and Monday, respectively. The earliest possible return for Curry could be in Game 5 on May 14, with a convenient three-day break before Game 6 on May 18.

While Curry has faced playoff injuries in the past, the current Warriors team lacks the depth and star power of their previous championship-winning rosters. Nevertheless, they remain optimistic about the collective effort shown in Game 1, led by players like Jimmy Butler, Buddy Hield, and Draymond Green, under the guidance of coach Steve Kerr.
