Unraveling the Mystery Woman Arrested After M27 Crash Leaves Person Seriously Hurt!

A dramatic incident on the M27 resulted in the arrest of a woman following a serious crash. The unfortunate event occurred when a person sustained severe injuries after a collision on the hard shoulder of the M27 in Hampshire. The individual had stopped on the hard shoulder, leading to the tragic occurrence.

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary promptly responded to the situation. They arrested a woman on suspicion of driving under the influence, as the collision took place on the eastbound carriageway of the motorway on a Saturday evening around 22:30 GMT. The location of the crash was reported to be between junction two (Ower) and three (M271), involving a black VW Golf and a silver Mercedes SLK.

The injured individual, who suffered life-changing and potentially life-threatening injuries, was identified as being from the VW Golf that was parked on the hard shoulder. The arrested woman, a 44-year-old from Wraysbury in Windsor and Maidenhead, Berkshire, was taken into custody on suspicion of drink-driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

Following the incident, the road had to be closed in both directions for a period of time for investigation and cleanup. The westbound carriageway reopened around 01:00, while the eastbound side was fully operational again by 09:30.
