The regular fantasy football season may be over, but the playoffs are here to offer more excitement. Below are some Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) suggestions and potential prop plays worth considering for the Wild Card weekend.
Players to Consider:
Quarterback:
– Jayden Daniels ($35): With Tampa Bay’s defense favoring pass over run, Daniels, a dynamic runner, is poised for a game of explosive running.
– Bo Nix ($25): Nix has shown promise as a proactive runner, and with favorable weather conditions, he could be a solid pick for DFS.
– Sam Darnold ($29): Despite a recent tough game, Darnold has had a standout season and could deliver against the Vikings.
Running Back:
– Bucky Irving ($32): Irving has emerged as Tampa Bay’s featured back and faces a weak run-defense in Washington.
Wide Receiver:
– Khalil Shakir ($25): With a consistent role in Buffalo’s passing offense, Shakir could provide reliable points for your DFS lineup.
– Olamide Zaccheaus ($16): Zaccheaus has seen increased involvement in the latter part of the season, making him a value pick for DFS.
– Jalen McMillan ($27): With a potentially increased role and impressive recent performances, McMillan could be a strong DFS choice.
Tight End:
– Tucker Kraft ($16): Kraft has been a reliable target in Green Bay’s offense, showcasing his athleticism and run-after-catch ability.

– Russell Wilson ($24): Despite his low salary, Wilson might not be the best choice with Pittsburgh’s defense having a solid expected team total for the weekend.

Russell Wilson has been struggling as of late, with four consecutive losses and a low 5.2 yards per attempt (YPA) over his last two games. Furthermore, Wilson lacks a standout receiver to connect with, as George Pickens is also in a rut and not a favorable option even at a reasonable price of $20.
Quarterback Matthew Stafford, priced at $22, has not had a particularly fruitful season, especially for older quarterbacks, with him set to turn 37 in February. In the final three weeks, Stafford’s performance may have deterred fantasy football players, as he only managed 153 yards per game, a single touchdown, and a meager 5.6 YPA. Even Cooper Kupp, an experienced player for the Los Angeles Rams, is a pass for me this week.
Wide receiver A.J. Brown, valued at $35, has not been living up to expectations since his return to the Titans, averaging only 7.46 targets per game. The Philadelphia Eagles, whose pass rate falls 30th below the league average, heavily lean on the running game to set up their offense. Additionally, in red zone situations, it’s quarterback Jalen Hurts who tends to capitalize on scoring opportunities. Given these factors, Brown’s high salary does not justify his inclusion in my lineup for Sunday’s games.
