The brothers, who are dual British and American citizens, deny any wrongdoing. They returned to Romania after prosecutors lifted a travel ban on them and faced a new criminal investigation in Florida. The Tates are adamant about clearing their names and proclaim their innocence, calling the allegations against them “garbage.” They are required to regularly check in with police, with their next appointment scheduled for March 24. The brothers were arrested in December 2022 and subsequently placed under house arrest in Romania on charges of organizing a criminal group involved in human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Andrew Tate is also accused of rape. The brothers deny all allegations and maintain their innocence. In addition to facing legal issues in Romania and the US, they are being investigated for rape and human trafficking in the UK. Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier has announced an active criminal investigation into the brothers, emphasizing zero tolerance for abuse against women and girls. The Tates’ defense attorney has criticized the handling of the case. Andrew Tate is also facing a civil suit in the UK.
