Sybiha emphasized Ukraine’s desire for an end to the ongoing war and highlighted the importance of U.S. leadership in achieving lasting peace. The two officials also explored avenues to enhance bilateral cooperation.
Furthermore, U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, disclosed ongoing talks with Ukraine to establish a framework for a peace agreement to resolve the three-year conflict with Russia. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy noted the extensive communication with U.S. officials throughout the day, emphasizing the shared goal of attaining peace and ensuring maximum security. Zelenskiy reiterated Ukraine’s commitment to constructive engagement in pursuit of peace.
