Trump’s Online Venting Sparks Controversy Over Conference Call Glitch!

WASHINGTON (AP) — The President of the United States faced technical difficulties during a conference call with faith leaders from across the country on Monday afternoon. Donald Trump took to Truth Social to express his frustration with AT&T, the service provider, for failing to ensure the call started on time. Trump called out AT&T in his posts, urging their involvement to address the recurring issues with their equipment. After a follow-up post emphasizing the need for AT&T to improve, the White House press secretary shared Trump’s complaints, prompting AT&T to respond and work swiftly to resolve the situation.

The call, not originally on Trump’s public schedule, eventually began 20 minutes late after AT&T intervened. Trump’s social media presence is known for airing grievances against various targets, including foreign leaders, media outlets, politicians, and now telecommunication companies.

The call, attended by thousands of Christian, Jewish, and Muslim leaders, marked the first in a series of planned engagements with religious leaders by the White House. During the delayed call, Trump highlighted elements of his tax and spending policies, such as the child tax credit increase, diplomatic achievements like the Israel-Iran ceasefire and African peace agreements, and his pardons for anti-abortion activists.
