During a visit to a detention facility in the Florida Everglades known as “Alligator Alcatraz,” President Donald Trump made derogatory comments about former President Joe Biden, referring to him as an “SOB.” Trump claimed that Biden wanted to see him behind bars in the facility but it didn’t happen that way. Trump also blamed Biden for federal indictments in 2023 and accused them of being politically motivated to harm his chances in the 2024 election. Trump toured the detention center alongside Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. The facility, which houses thousands of people and is surrounded by wildlife like alligators, crocodiles, and pythons, is part of Trump’s strict stance on illegal immigration. Trump emphasized the dangers of the wildlife in the area, particularly alligators, and joked about teaching people how to run away from them. This isn’t the first time Trump has insulted Biden, having previously referred to him as a “dumb son of a b—-” at a campaign rally in 2023.
