Trump Names Dan Bongino FBI Deputy Director!

Surprising choice for FBI role shocks everyone. Conservative commentator and former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino has been appointed as the deputy director of the FBI, as announced by President Trump on Sunday evening. “Great news for Law Enforcement and American Justice! Dan Bongino, a man with tremendous love and dedication for our Country, has just been chosen as the next DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF THE FBI, by the individual who will undoubtedly be the greatest Director, Kash Patel,” the president shared on Truth Social.

President Trump revealed that commentator Dan Bongino was designated as the Deputy Director of the FBI by the new Director Kash Patel on Sunday, accompanied by an image from Getty Images. Trump made this significant disclosure on his Truth Social platform, expressing his endorsement of Bongino, a 50-year-old individual who served as an NYPD officer and later as a special agent for the Secret Service before transitioning to a different career path.

Prior to this appointment, Bongino hosted the popular Fox News show “Unfiltered” on Saturday nights until his departure from the network in 2023. Trump lauded Bongino for his exceptional service as a Secret Service agent. Presently, Bongino hosts the widely followed podcast “The Dan Bongino Show,” which, Trump revealed, he would discontinue in order to return to the field of law enforcement.

Trump articulated his confidence in the reinstatement of Fairness, Justice, Law, and Order in America through collaboration with the new United States Attorney General, Pam Bondi, and Director Patel. Extending his congratulations, Trump remarked, “Congratulations Dan!”

Following the release of a new podcast episode earlier in the day, Bongino expressed his gratitude for the appointment later that evening by acknowledging, “Thank you Mr. President, Attorney General Bondi, and Director Patel.” Patel, who had been critical of the FBI in the lead-up to assuming his new role, was officially sworn in for a 10-year term as the head of the agency on Friday, subsequent to securing confirmation from the US Senate in a closely contested 51-49 vote.

Adding to his credentials, Bongino’s affiliation with New York City also includes earning a master’s degree in psychology from the City University of New York (CUNY), as disclosed by Trump.
