Trump Administration Pulls 450 Million Grants from Harvard!

WASHINGTON – The Trump administration has decided to revoke an additional $450 million in grants to Harvard University, following the school’s release of an internal report on antisemitism within its campus. This latest action intensifies the mounting pressure on the prestigious Ivy League institution, which has been facing numerous threats and investigations from the White House, including scrutiny of its tax-exempt status and compliance with regulations pertaining to international student enrollment.

In April, a federal task force temporarily halted approximately $2.2 billion in funding for Harvard. The specifics of how this pause has been enacted and which research grants are impacted have not been clearly outlined by the Trump administration. Education Secretary Linda McMahon recently informed Harvard President Alan Garber that the university would no longer be eligible for any new federally supported research grants.

Initially, the administration stated that the grants originate from eight different agencies. However, details regarding the termination of new funding remain unclear as neither the federal Education Department nor Harvard officials have provided immediate clarification on the matter.

This situation is ongoing and further updates will be provided as they become available.
