Trista Sutter reveals ‘Special Forces’ exit and fake marriage drama!

Trista Sutter, who marked her 21st wedding anniversary on December 6, is unbothered by the fact that audiences have witnessed her in vulnerable and unfiltered moments of distress. “I’m not as self-conscious as I used to be. I still have my insecurities. I don’t particularly enjoy seeing myself in moments of defeat and vulnerability, all the things I likely come across as on the show. But this is the path I chose. This isn’t my first experience with reality television,” she remarks.

Upon leaving the show, Sutter was promptly taken to a comfortable hotel room where she was able to freshen up with a shower and peruse the caring Instagram messages from her husband, along with the outpouring of support on social media. She immediately reached out to her husband Ryan and their children. “The first thing I did was call my family. Being able to reconnect with them meant the world to me. I assured them that I made it through, even though my journey on the show was shorter than I had hoped for. Nevertheless, I did it. I felt a sense of pride and acceptance in my decision to leave.”

Reflecting on her post-elimination experience, Sutter emphasizes the significance of the simple pleasure of a shower. “The best part, after speaking with my family, was that shower. It was truly the most refreshing shower of my entire life.”

This insightful account was initially featured on USA TODAY, highlighting Trista Sutter’s candid portrayal of her challenging departure and navigating through fabricated relationship drama on the reality show “Special Forces.”
