Travel warning from the US State Department: Stay alert!

On the fourteenth day of the war between Israel and Palestine, tensions are running high and officials are issuing one statement after another. Yesterday, the US State Department urged its citizens to be vigilant when traveling due to 'heightened tensions in various parts of the world'.

The travel division of the US State Department's Bureau of Consular Affairs issued a notice yesterday advising US citizens to be vigilant when traveling.

The notice reads, "Worldwide Caution: Due to heightened tensions around the world and the potential for terrorist attacks, demonstrations, or acts of violence against U.S. citizens and interests, the State Department advises U.S. citizens overseas to exercise heightened caution."
