Tragic Murder in Busy Bank!

Two men have been arrested following the fatal stabbing of a customer inside a Lloyds bank in Derby city center. The incident occurred on St Peter’s Street on Tuesday afternoon. The victim, a man in his 30s, was attacked at around 14:30 BST. One man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of murder, while another man in his 30s was arrested for allegedly assisting the offender. Both suspects were apprehended at an address on Western Road in Normanton around 18:00. The pedestrianised street and nearby East Street have been cordoned off by police. The victim has not yet been formally identified, but his family has been notified. St Peter’s Street will remain closed for the evening. Anyone with information is urged to contact the authorities.
