The unfortunate event took place at approximately 7:19 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, inside a flat located in Cobhorn Drive, Bristol. The Avon and Somerset Police were alerted to the incident by the ambulance service. Despite the diligent efforts to treat the victim, she succumbed to her injuries and passed away at the scene.
Two individuals, a man and a woman both in their twenties, were apprehended on suspicion of being in control of a dog that caused fatal injuries due to being dangerously out of control. Additionally, they were also suspected of possessing a prohibited breed of dog. The suspects remain in police custody pending further investigation.
