Tragic End to Mysterious Disappearance

A woman who had gone missing after planning to move out of an apartment she shared with her ex-boyfriend was found deceased inside a suitcase in Yonkers on Thursday, as reported by sources and her family.

Pamela Alcantara, 26, was last spotted in her Bronx building in Fordham Heights on Sunday before vanishing under mysterious circumstances, according to authorities. She had last communicated with her mother via FaceTime early on Sunday, mentioning her intention to attend a church service but failed to appear, her family informed News 12.

Surveillance footage captured Alcantara entering an elevator but not exiting the building, raising concerns about her whereabouts. Despite her family’s efforts to spread her photos outside her residence and hope for her safe return, her body was tragically discovered by law enforcement inside a suitcase near Yonkers Avenue and Palmer Road off the Saw Mill River Parkway in Yonkers around 9:50 a.m., according to sources.

Alcantara had resided on the fifth floor with her former partner and had plans to change apartments without him, her relatives revealed. Sources indicated that her ex-boyfriend was taken into custody after his vehicle was identified near the location where her remains were found, with pending charges against him as of Thursday night.

The heartbroken family of Alcantara expressed deep sorrow following the disturbing revelation, emphasizing the tragedy of her young age and the promising future that lay ahead of her.
