The highly anticipated Season 3 of “The Traitors” has finally premiered, and it has lived up to expectations with its thrilling twists and shocking moments. The first four episodes have been filled with unexpected turns as several contestants saw their hopes of winning the $250,000 prize dashed.
The season debuted on Peacock on Jan. 9, introducing viewers to the initial group of 21 contestants tasked with increasing the prize pot while navigating the dangers of elimination and betrayal. The star-studded cast, including “Big Brother” legends Danielle Reyes and Britney Haynes, “Survivor” winners Tony Vlachos and Jeremy Collins, and reality TV favorites Chrishell Stause and Gabby Windey, was exclusively announced by TODAY back in June.
Host Alan Cumming made a dramatic entrance on horseback to welcome the contestants to the show’s Scottish castle, kicking off the game. Familiar faces like “Survivor” star Rob “Boston Rob” Mariano, who was initially incognito, were revealed as part of the competition. The contestants faced tough decisions from the start, choosing whether to accept or exile certain contestants, leading to strategic gameplay and alliances forming.

Tony Vlachos, a two-time “Survivor” winner, found his journey on Season 3 abruptly halted after placing his trust in the wrong individuals. During a critical mission, Tony faced scrutiny from Bob Harper for not stepping forward to take the lead and potentially endanger himself. Feeling attacked, Tony expressed his frustrations on the way back home. At a later gathering, Bob Harper became aware of Tony’s displeasure towards him, leading to suspicions about Tony possibly being a Traitor. Jeremy Collins, another contestant categorized as a Faithful, was at the center of a dramatic turn of events in Episode 4. The Traitors were tasked with a grim assignment, selecting three individuals – either Faithfuls or Traitors – for potential elimination. The Traitors singled out Jeremy Collins, along with “Summer House” personality Ciara Miller and retired wrestler Nikki Garcia. These chosen individuals were then instructed to lie in coffins, awaiting their fate. Despite Jeremy’s offer to collaborate with the Traitors if spared, they opted to eliminate him due to his accurate suspicion of “Big Brother” star Danielle Reyes being a Traitor. In a poignant moment during his final interview, Jeremy became emotional reflecting on his inability to secure the prize money for his family.
Bob the Drag Queen, known for his sharp and strategic gameplay, faced an unexpected betrayal from his fellow Traitors, notably Rob, in Episode 4. Throughout the season, Bob had been vocal in attempting to divert attention onto others and confuse his adversaries. However, his suggestion to the group to scrutinize the newcomers – Rob, Wes, and Derrick – as potential Traitors was seized upon by Rob as an opportunity to eliminate the “RuPaul’s Drag Race” champion. Rob successfully persuaded the group to oust Bob, leaving him stunned. Following his elimination, Rob defiantly admitted his deceit as a Traitor before the assembled cast.
