The Street’s Secret Authorities Offer $10,000 Reward in South LA Killing!

Odis Sneed is seeking the public’s help to solve the murder of his granddaughter, Lanai Dees, who was tragically shot while in her car last November in Westmont. Authorities are asking for information regarding the unsolved homicide of a 21-year-old woman who was killed in a South Los Angeles alley in 2024. Lanai Dees was driving her white Mercedes Benz in the Westmont neighborhood when a dark-colored SUV passed by and opened fire, causing her to crash into a staircase. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is offering a $10,000 reward for any leads in the case. At a press conference, Lt. Steven De Jong emphasized the importance of the community’s assistance in solving this crime, highlighting that someone may have crucial information. Lanai Dees’ family mourns her loss, with her mother describing her as the shining light of their family. Her grandfather, Odis Sneed, appeals to the community to come forward with any information they may have, emphasizing the importance of justice for Lanai. Another reward of $15,000 is being offered by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors for information related to the homicide of another victim, Raejonette Morgan. Detectives do not believe the two cases are connected and urge anyone with information to contact the homicide detectives.
