Three dogs have been confiscated following an incident at a playing field in Devon that resulted in the euthanasia of two dogs, Devon and Cornwall Police revealed. The authorities reported that officers responded to Exwick Playing Fields on 21 December after receiving information about dogs attacking both “other dogs and humans.”
As a consequence of the attack, two dogs had to be euthanized, and a woman was taken to the hospital to receive treatment for puncture wounds. The police have identified a woman in her 50s in connection with the ongoing investigation, and three dogs have been taken into police custody.
The seized dogs will be under the care and custody of the police while the investigation remains active. Devon and Cornwall Police have urged anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist with the investigation.
