Terrifying Crash 6 People Aboard Plane in New York!

A tragedy unfolded in upstate New York when a plane carrying six individuals crashed in an open field near Copake, a small town around 20 miles southeast of Columbia County Airport in Hudson. The fatal incident occurred on April 12, just days after a helicopter plunged into the Hudson River. The Mitsubishi MU-2B aircraft was en route to the airport when it went down at approximately 12:15 p.m. local time. The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed the crash and stated that no further details on casualties were immediately available. The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, along with the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board, are currently investigating the crash. Undersheriff Jacqueline Salvatore provided information at a press conference, mentioning the challenges of accessing the crash site due to its location in a muddy field. In a separate incident on April 10, a helicopter crash in the Hudson River claimed the lives of a Spanish family of five and the pilot during an aerial sightseeing tour of New York City. The cause of this tragedy is also under investigation.
