Tennessee Woman Injured in Bizarre Dolphin Encounter in Jamaica!

Help bring Cierra Stockard back to the U.S. – GoFundMe Campaign
Cierra Stockard, a woman from Tennessee, was involved in a freak accident while swimming with dolphins in Jamaica. Her family is now seeking financial assistance to bring her back to the U.S. after the incident.
Stockard shared her harrowing experience with ABC affiliate WKRN, explaining that during her interaction with the dolphins on her spring break trip, she accidentally landed on one of the dolphin’s dorsal fins, resulting in a significant hematoma. She was subsequently taken to a local hospital in Montego Bay for treatment.
Describing the incident, Stockard’s sister, Nevaeh Garton, mentioned on the GoFundMe page that Stockard slipped as the dolphin lifted her in the air, causing a severe hematoma the size of three apples due to the impact. Despite undergoing emergency surgery and receiving two blood transfusions in Jamaica, Stockard, who has sickle cell disease, still requires additional medical care.
Stockard’s family is seeking to bring her back to the U.S. as her insurance does not cover international emergency travel. They aim to raise $55,000 to cover expenses, including a medical flight. Stockard’s loved ones express their gratitude for the support received so far and request continued prayers during this challenging time.
Stockard’s family has already raised over $10,000 towards their goal. In an update on social media, Stockard expressed her appreciation for the support received and shared her positive outlook despite the challenges she’s facing. She is determined to overcome the pain with a smile on her face as she continues her recovery journey.

Please inform my children that their mother is a strong and determined person. I am excited about this progress as it brings me closer to returning to Tennessee. (Source: People)
