An 18-year-old male individual is facing charges of attempted murder following an incident where a group armed with a knife and various weapons attacked three men in Lisburn. The altercation occurred on Mountview Drive around 01:40 GMT on Friday, involving a father and son among the victims. The young suspect has been charged with a range of offenses, including attempted murder, inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent, and possessing an offensive weapon with intent. Law enforcement authorities have stated that he is scheduled to appear before Lisburn Magistrates’ Court on Monday. Additionally, on Saturday, two 19-year-old males appeared in court after being charged in connection to the assault. Both individuals were denied bail and have been placed in custody pending further legal proceedings.
