Teen in Coma After Hallucination Walk! 120Ft Cliff

A 14-year-old boy named Zane is currently in a coma after walking off a cliff while experiencing hallucinations during a hike. According to his father, Ryan Wach, Zane developed altitude sickness while climbing Mount Whitney and then walked off the cliff shortly thereafter, resulting in multiple injuries. Despite the severity of the situation, Ryan remains hopeful that Zane will survive. The incident occurred on June 10 during a 19-hour hike up the mountain, where Zane began showing signs of altitude sickness and hallucinations. A group of hikers eventually helped call for assistance, leading to Zane’s rescue and transfer to Sunrise Children’s Hospital in Las Vegas. Zane sustained head trauma, a broken ankle, a broken finger, and a partially broken pelvis from the fall, and is currently in a medically induced coma. A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to support Zane and his family, with over $23,000 raised to assist with travel expenses and other costs incurred during this difficult time. Ryan expressed gratitude for the community’s prayers and support, emphasizing the importance of coming together during challenging times.
