Tahj Mowry Twin Sisters Tia and Tamera Shaped His Work!

Tahj Mowry, known for his role as Michelle Tanner’s friend Teddy on “Full House,” recently discussed his experiences working with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen on the beloved sitcom. Tahj revealed on a podcast with Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber that he was never confused by the twins playing the same character, as he had twin sisters of his own, Tia and Tamera Mowry, who were also child actors in the early ’90s.

During the eight-season run of “Full House,” the Olsen twins shared the role of Michelle due to child labor laws limiting their work hours. Tahj, however, understood the situation, having grown up with twin sisters. He shared that it made sense to him that the twins split the work, and he was never puzzled by the arrangement.

Tahj reflected on his unique experience of working with two actors portraying the same character, mentioning that it was enjoyable for him to have two different scene partners in real life. Despite the complexities, he found the dynamic to be fun and engaging.

Following his time on “Full House,” Tahj continued his acting career with appearances on “Sister, Sister” and his own sitcom, “Smart Guy.” He also voiced a character in “Kim Possible” and starred in shows like “Baby Daddy” and “The Muppets Mayhem.” Tahj shared how his background with twin siblings influenced his understanding and appreciation of working with multiple actors in the same role.
