Stevie Wonder’s LA Home Listed for 15 Million, Artistic Legacy Lives On!

“Stevie Wonder’s Famous LA Residence Hits the Market for $15 Million!”

Stevie Wonder’s sons, Kailand and Mandla, are bidding farewell to their childhood home in Calabasas, California. The musician’s former wife, Kai Millard, has listed the six-bedroom property where their sons grew up. The ex-couple split in 2012.

Millard has put the 11,120-square-foot home up for sale at $15 million or available for lease at $65,000 per month. This fully renovated estate boasts six bedrooms and six bathrooms, located in a gated community in the San Fernando Valley, sprawling across 2.779 acres.

The residence features a chef’s kitchen with a book-matched marble island, chevron parquet wood floors, high-end Miele appliances, and Sub-Zero refrigerators. It also includes a wine storage area and a bar.

The primary suite comes with a private living room and en-suite bathroom. Additionally, there is a dual-sided fireplace, a private balcony overlooking the backyard, exquisite chandeliers, and a walk-in closet. The primary bathroom offers a walk-in shower, steam room, and a brand-new infrared sauna.

The home’s upper level houses an office with a marble fireplace and a grand chandelier adorned in gold leaf. The lower level comprises a butler’s kitchen, a guest bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and a spacious living room with direct access to a piano entertainment room.

The entertainment room leads out to the expansive backyard, featuring a custom pool and beautifully landscaped gardens, ideal for indoor-outdoor gatherings.

Millard shared that the couple purchased the modern Mediterranean-style home for $2.85 million in 2000. She described the property’s timeless architecture and stunning location, expressing her decision to refresh the space during the pandemic, investing over $3 million in remodeling the primary suite and kitchen.

“It feels like the right time to explore a new chapter,” Millard stated.
