Star Linebacker CJ Mosley Shocks Fans with Retirement News!

C.J. Mosley, a five-time Pro Bowl linebacker, announced his retirement from the NFL on his 33rd birthday. Mosley, who had been a free agent since being released by the New York Jets on March 12, had a challenging 2024 season due to injuries. Despite this, he had a successful career, earning Pro Bowl honors in four of the six seasons he played with the Baltimore Ravens. He also led the Jets in tackles for three consecutive seasons from 2021 to 2023. In his retirement announcement on Instagram, Mosley shared his excitement for starting a new chapter and pursuing new dreams. Over his career with the Ravens and Jets, Mosley amassed impressive stats, including 1,083 tackles, 12 sacks, 12 interceptions, and 10 forced fumbles in 133 games. He was originally drafted by the Ravens with the 17th overall pick in 2014 after playing college football at Alabama.
