Stallone invokes Trump in Florida council meeting!

“There is a significant amount of traffic in the area due to our reputation,” he mentioned. He explained that while there are onlookers, there are also fishermen and tour boats. Boats come near Stallone’s residence, drop anchor, and stay for about 10 hours for parties or fishing. “Our goal is to preserve the area,” he added, emphasizing the bird activity that includes pelicans, not penguins, which he jokingly acknowledged. Stallone also addressed the issue of abandoned boats and waste being dumped in the Intracoastal waters. He expressed frustration about people using the area for activities like doing laundry in front of his home for extended periods. Stallone mentioned working with his friend Trump to address these concerns.

In a recent meeting, Stallone and his wife decided to withdraw their application for a seaweed barrier at their Palm Beach property. Stallone expressed his commitment to paying attention to these matters that have been overlooked, particularly in light of recent manatee deaths in the state.

Before withdrawing the plans, Mayor Danielle Moore raised concerns about the barrier setting a negative precedent for Palm Beach. She highlighted the importance of preserving public access to the area for boaters. A resident, Minnie Pulitzer, urged Stallone to reconsider his proposal.

After listening to neighbors’ feedback, Stallone acknowledged their concerns and emphasized that his intentions were not just for personal reasons. He expressed respect for the opinions of long-standing residents in the area.
