Police discovered a deceased man and another individual with injuries at a location in Coventry. A man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of murder following a fatal stabbing and is currently in custody as investigations proceed. The incident occurred on Newcombe Road in Coventry, where officers found two men with severe stab wounds just before 14:00 GMT on Saturday. Tragically, the man in his 50s succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while the second man, also in his 50s, sustained significant facial injuries and was hospitalized. West Midlands Police disclosed that a 51-year-old man from Coventry was apprehended on suspicion of murder and is undergoing questioning. A police cordon remained in place on Sunday for forensic examinations. Additional patrols will be conducted in the vicinity to reassure and support the community in the upcoming days, as stated by a police spokesperson.
